Weddings at The Conyngham Arms
Located in the quaint manor village of Slane in the heart of the Boyne Valley, The Conyngham Arms is adorned with touches of French country style décor creating an inherent charming atmosphere. This former Coaching Inn, has been hosting great parties for hundreds of years. You too can become part of that wonderful history of The Conyngham Arms, living moments to savour forever.
‘The Lavender Suite’ which can seat up to 140 for dining, is located to the rear of The Conyngham Arms and opens out onto the elevated terrace abundant with pots of lavender from which our wonderful wedding space has borrowed its name. From here the steps lead down to the landscaped gardens complete with fountain, which back on to the Slane Castle Estate.
Church or Civil, Black Tie or Boho, Trendy or Traditional, whatever your style we welcome you all. Simple but classic white linens and crockery, fine glassware and cutlery highlighted by atmospheric lighting and candlelight, provide the blank canvas for you to put your personal stamp to this event. Flowers, favours and other small touches can complete the theme created by you for this special day.
On this day of giving, you give to each other and we give to you both our very best in planning each and every element of your day from the initial meeting withour wedding co-ordinator, to our chef and his team preparing your feast, whilst our wonderful hands-on staff will be there to look after you and your guests throughout the day.
Civil Ceremonies…
Civil Ceremonies can be catered for in the Lavender Suite, hosting up to 150 guests. Outdoor Ceremonies can also be facilitated in our private gardens, once the wedding license permits and the weather obliges.
