Weddings at Segrave Barns
The most important thing for us to mention at the outset is that we will try our very best to say ‘yes’ to your requests, however extraordinary they may be! Your special day is very important to us, and as we only hold a maximum of 3 weddings per week, we are able to be more flexible than other venues or hotels which usually have to prepare for another event the following day!
GUEST ACCOMMODATION
Ashtree Barn is a 4-bedroomed stone-built barn which is included in all wedding packages here, and is often the scene of much merriment on a wedding morning (package permitting). We are always here to guide you and to give you the benefit of our experience, and hope that by working closely together we will ensure that both you and your guests feel comfortable and relaxed, and have an amazing experience!
WEDDING GUEST GLAMPING ACCOMMODATION
Wedding guests can book a glamping POD for the duration of the event. To book guests will receive a unique wedding code from the wedding couple. Guests who have the code can enter it to access our booking system and book their POD.
WILLOW BARN
Willow Barn has replaced the ‘secret garden’ where things began on a cold September night in 2010! It is now an intimate yet spacious barn which is ideal both for wedding receptions and concerts. We have catered for weddings ranging from 100 to 220 guests with great success.
For concerts the maximum numbers are 200 guests, all seated at tables. The format for concerts here change for each event…
Adjacent to Willow Barn is our own fully-licensed bar, Dunany Pint, which is both quaint and cosy, reminiscent of a ‘shebeen’ of yesteryear!
HOLLY BARN
Holly Barn was the venue for our first Christmas Show back in 2011, but is now used solely for all indoor wedding ceremonies. A fully-integrated sound system means that all guests can hear the ceremony with ease and the room still retains the old-style charm of a rustic barn.
ASHTREE BARN
Ashtree Barn is a 4-bedroomed stone-built barn which is included in all wedding packages here, and is often the scene of much merriment on a wedding morning with the arrival of make-up artists, photographers, videographers and hairdressers. The 75ft-long upstairs living area lends itself well to such occasions and is available for up to 3 nights, depending on the package selected. The balcony has beautiful sea views overlooking Clogherhead, and the sound of waves can be heard crashing on the stunning beach, which is often used for wedding photographs.
