Weddings at The Haven Hotel

The Haven Hotel is a truly unique venue. Owned and managed by the Kelly Family for more than 50 years, it is situated in the heart of Dunmore East, renowned worldwide for it’s beauty and tranquillity. The hotel and landscaped gardens overlook the Hook peninsula and provide a stunning backdrop to your photographs.

We specialise in bespoke weddings to suit all tastes and budgets and pride ourselves on attention to detail. One of the family will be on hand to help you throughout your preparations, as well as on the day. We can cater for an intimate wedding in one of our small function rooms, a wedding breakfast for up to 120 guests in the ballroom, or 250 guests in a marquee on the lawn.

We pride ourselves on serving great value home cooked food and celebrate Irish produce. We use products from recognised Quality Assurance Schemes, specialising in Roast Rib of Prime Irish Beef and locally caught seafood.

We will be delighted to create a menu to your taste and, of course, your budget.

We can cater for a traditional wedding breakfast, a barbecue on the lawn, a buffet of your favourite foods, a sumptuous canapé reception…

Accommodation for you & your guests

We will be delighted to accommodate you and your guests and offer special wedding rates.

As The Haven started life as a private home all rooms are different sizes to accommodate families and couples alike. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

We have four large sea view rooms: one of which is our Bridal Room complete with four poster bed.

We also have two interconnecting family rooms which can each cater for two adults and up to three children.

The remainder of the rooms in the house are double bedded – four of these rooms are located on the ground floor of the house.

We can also accommodate up to 14 guests in the Garden Suite.
