Drinks and canapés can be served in the 17th-century courtyard, on the lawn or in The Mill, with full service gourmet dinners in a range of venues, including The Orangery restaurant.
Dynamic, produce-driven menus are what our kitchens do best, with our Head Chef reaching into his Irish larder to create a memorable feast for every couple.
Couples will find dishes to suit every wedding guest on our canapé, platter, classic and collection menus.
Nathan, our Head Chef, is available to provide guidance and input during each step of your preparations, tailoring meals to your exact specifications, meaning neither dietary requirements nor fussy eaters will be able to cast a shadow on your big day.
Our full-time events planner, Kate Van, will ensure the catering runs smoothly, liaising with the kitchen and your party throughout the afternoon.
She can also help book and plan pre- and post-wedding suppers and dinners in our Orangery restaurant and Trellis, meaning you get to spend the maximum amount of quality time with precious friends and family during your time here.
A perfect venue for weddings owing to the flexibility of the property’s family-friendly two-, and three-bedroom cottages.
Cliff at Lyons has a collection of two- and three-bedroom cottages ideal for couples or families staying overnight for a wedding.
All have exceptional garden, potager or lily-pond views, with some bedrooms looking towards the Grand Canal.
The decoration style is traditional country: bay windows that catch the sun, rustic kitchens with a range or Aga ovens, comfortable sitting and drawing rooms framed by roses, lavender and box.
Many of the bedrooms have four-posters, with silk, chintz, wooden panelling, wood floors and soft carpets throughout.
With large communal spaces, friends and family can mingle as they get ready for the event, or late into the next day over a long brunch with kids.
The feeling is more of a private home than a hotel, yet you have all the five-star services of Cliff at Lyons at your beck and call.
