Whether you’re looking for an exquisite sit-down dining experience or delicious canapés, you can be rest assured knowing that one of Ireland’s Michelin Star Chef’s, Oliver Dunne of Cleaver East and Bon Appetit, Malahide will be catering for you and your guests on your special day. We have a number of packages available, alternativily Oliver would be delighted to collaborate with you to create a bespoke package!
Overlooking the magnificent River Liffey, The Clarence is the perfect location for a stylish, modern city centre wedding. It’s wonderful venue for both intimate and grand weddings. With the hotel situated in the heart of Ireland’s capital city, photographic locations are in abundance, from flower laden secret parks to cool rock’n’roll graffiti walls. Gather your guests on the Ha’penny Bridge for that unique wedding photograph. All these backdrops and more are within a short walk of the hotel, manageable in the even the highest of heels! At The Clarence Hotel, we can accommodate a wedding reception as well as provide the perfect space for a civil ceremony or informal blessing. Situated on the first floor of The Clarence Hotel you will find the elegant Cleaver East Suites, featuring spectacular views overlooking the city centre. Our private suites can facilitate gatherings from 20 – 100 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 140 for a stand-up reception with a private bar and dancefloor. Cleaver East, our contemporary restaurant located on the ground floor of The Clarence Hotel can also facilitate wedding celebrations of up to 120 guests for private dining, with two semi-private balconies; one accommodating up to 34 diners and the other accommodating up to 30, perfect for an intimate family celebration. Civil Ceremony and Informal Blessing
At The Clarence we are delighted to host a civil ceremony or an informal blessing. The Study is home to some of the most impressive Guggi paintings in our collection as well as our handcrafted Irish contemporary chandeliers with a large open fireplace This room is not only perfect for a great city centre civil ceremony, it is also ideal for a drinks reception to follow. Our experienced Events Team will assist you with the careful planning of all aspects of your wedding, from the ceremony through to the celebrations afterwards.
