Civil Ceremonies at Bloomfield House Hotel

Say “I Do” on the shores of Lough Ennell and host your ceremony and celebrations within one spectacular venue.

Perched on the lake shores, this charming Hotel offers a stunning backdrop for lakeside Civil Marriages. We will work closely with you to ensure a perfect day!

Choose from our three fully styled suites decorated with a Red Carpet up the aisle, Lanterns, Candlebras, Chair Covers, Sashes, Background Music, Fairy Light Backdrop, Flowers and a Wedding Arch. Lakeside Ceremonies on the lawns can be arranged in consultation with your Solemniser.

The Belvedere Suite
Our Ballroom has played host to many special occasions over the years and is decorated to the highest standards. This suite benefits from natural light, air-conditioning, a large dance floor, chandeliers, a raised area for your top table, large function bar and its own private smoking patio. This suite can seat up to 380 people in a banquet style set up.

The Ennell Suite
This suite offers fresh, warm and welcoming décor and benefits from a large Skylight which floods the room with natural daylight. It is fully air-conditioned and offers a choice of room layouts to suit your requirements. The Ennell Suite also boasts it’s own function bar & dance floor in the room. This suite can seat up to 140 people in a banquet style set up.

The Lynnbury Suite
For those seeking a small, intimate wedding party, this suite offers traditional and elegant décor and benefits from stained glass windows, a chandelier and boasts large bay windows with stunning views of the hotel grounds and Lough Ennell. This Suite also transforms into a stunning Civil Ceremony & CivilMarriage Suite. The Lynnbury Suite can seat up to 48 people in a banquet style arrangement.

Lakeview Ceremony on the Lawns
Say “I do” on the lawns with Lough Ennell as your back drop. A Wedding Ceremony can take place on the grounds of the Hotel, once the couple are using a registered Solemniser. The Solemniser must be listed on the register of solemnisers. The couple must give a minimum of three months notice to the Civil Registration Service Office. Civil Ceremonies solemnised by HSE registrars can only take place indoors from Monday – Friday (excluding public/bank holidays and weekends). Humanist or Solemniser can perform civil marriages midweek and weekends. They can also perform outdoor lakeside cermonies.
