Weddings at the Strand Hotel
The Strand Hotel is located on the route of Failte Irelands, “Wild Atlantic Way”, 50 meters from the Silver Strand blue flag beach in Dugort, Achill Island.
The hotel has been in operation in since the early 1950s and owned by the Scott family since the 1970s. While a lot has changed since then, thankfully, a few things have stayed the same, the beach, the wild Slievemore mountain, the spectacular view over to Blacksod bay and last but not least, the warm Achill welcome that awaits you.

Often the bigger hotels will not cater for small numbers and it is hard to find somewhere suitable for such personal gatherings.
We have a nicely sized function room capable of handling gatherings of 5 to over 100 people.
