The Late Victorian building was renovated by the McGowan family in 2005 who have transformed the magnificent building into a 16 bedroom boutique Hotel. Scholars Townhouse is currently the only family owned hotel in the region and is renowned for its excellence in hospitality and customer service.

Scholars Townhouse Hotel is situated in the heart of the historic town of Drogheda, evokes a truly romantic, old world and stylish atmosphere.
We specialize on small intimate weddings for a minimum of 25 guests in the west wing with a maximum of 36. The main restaurant can cater for a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 75.
