Important changes in Irish marriage law took effect from November 2007, meaning it is now possible for civil ceremony marriages to be held at venues in Ireland other than Registry Offices or Churches for the first time – subject to a number of conditions being met. At The Merriman we are approved for civil wedding ceremonies, which allows couples to have both the ceremony and the reception on the premises.
