Steeped in history, the main house at The Lodge dates back to 1865. It has been fully refurbished to an exceptional standard. The picturesque lakeside setting of The Lodge provides the perfect backdrop for your special day, with impeccably manicured lawns and terraces for guests to enjoy drinks and canapés amid magnificent scenery for those all-important photographs.

The Harbour Ballroom
Capturing the elegance of the enchanting surroundings, the opulent Harbour Ballroom with its graceful chandeliers and panoramic views of Lough Corrib and Kinlough Woods is guaranteed to enhance the magic of your special day. Available for receptions of up to 186 guests, The Harbour Ballroom also has a private bar and reception area and the option of outdoor seating.
The room features drop-down screens for videos, photography and messages. Your own selection of music for your wedding day can be played through the built-in surround sound system in the room.

The Junior Harbour Ballroom
For more intimate celebrations, The Junior Harbour Ballroom is also available for up to 30 guests and features its own private bar and an outdoor patio area for a drinks reception.

Executive Head Chef Jonathan Keane, originally from Connemara, is the culinary mastermind behind the food offerings at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. Voted Best Chef in Connaught at the 2017 Restaurant Association of Ireland Awards, Jonathan was born to cook.
Growing up he was surrounded by inspiring landscape, the finest ingredients and the magic of the sea. He combines local and seasonal produce with innovation to create mouth-watering flavours.

Exclusive Use
For larger parties, exclusive use is the ideal option for creating a bespoke, private wedding event. Exclusive use packages include 64 luxury guest rooms, for up to 130 guests with full Irish breakfast each morning. Exquisite dining in Wilde’s Restaurant and private access to the Quay Bar, Harbour Bar, gardens and terraces. There is also the option to extend the party by hosting a post wedding celebration such as a BBQ or buffet for guests continuing their stay at The Lodge.
