Weddings at Blairscove House
Blairscove House is situated on the picturesque inlet of Dunmanus Bay in West Cork on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Blairscove Restaurant is beautiful and the location is stunning; teamed with fabulous food this is a sure recipe for a memorable day.
Weddings celebrated here are informal events with an emphasis on good food and good times. Our weddings are without stuffiness but with five-star service and food.
If you want to hold your ceremony at Blairscove, a humanist ceremony can be held either outdoors or in our new marquee.
On fine days, the courtyard is ideal for drinks receptions, the landscaped gardens and the backdrop of Dunmanus Bay are ideal for wedding photography and we have a marquee for your drinks reception in the event of bad weather.
The wedding meal itself would be held in our restaurant. The restaurant, on one side of the courtyard quadrangle, used to be the property’s stable building. 250 years old it is lofty, stone walled and black beamed with a magnificent chandelier as the central feature. During dinner our pianist will entertain you with light music.
After dinner, your band or DJ will set up in the main hall and you can dance your socks off under the chandelier until the wee small hours.
The courtyard also has four stylish guest suites, providing accommodation for up to 10 guests.
You will have exclusive use of Blairscove and won’t have to worry about sharing our venue with other guests or having strangers in your wedding photos! We can accommodate up to 100 guests for weddings here at Blairscove, but smaller groups are also catered for.

Our team prides itself on making sure everything goes exactly to plan giving the Bride and Groom complete peace of mind without breaking the bank. Blairscove has been lovingly family owned for three generations and your wedding will be personally supervised by a member of the De Mey family.
