At the Balmoral, we can accommodate wedding receptions from 20 to 220 in one of our beautifully & newly refurbished suites with breath-taking views of the famous Mourne & Cooley Mountains.
We are now offering you the opportunity to choose an all inclusive package for your wedding, with one price covering everything, from 6 course menus, chair covers, linen napkins, Fairy lights & Candelabras, overnight accommodation & much, much more To ensure you of our personal dedication to you on such a special day we have a policy of booking only one wedding reception a day.
Please note, there are no number restrictions or charges for your chosen suite for your special day.
Photographs can be taken at the near-by municipal park which boasts fabulous landscaping all year round with the beautiful bandstand which recently celebrated it’s 100th year. Couples have also taken advantage of the promenade and beautiful back drop of the Mourne Mountains.
The Balmoral is now licensed to Hold Civil Ceremonies. A popular choice now for couples is to hold their wedding ceremony and reception all at the one venue. There are many benefits of having your ceremony and reception in one place, including time saved travelling between venues, transport costs and of course the time you’ll have to spend with your guests.
Both our Loughview Suite and Ballroom have been licensed to Hold Civil ceremonies.
Our Wedding Co-Ordinator is experienced in organising your Civil ceremony, they can assist you with all the application requirements and advise you on making the necessary appointments with your registrar or clergy.
