Hello,
My name is Suzanne, I am a professional freelance ITEC qualified makeup artist. I am qualified in occasional, bridal, editorial, TV & film, theatre, photographic and special effects. I trained with Galligan college where I received my ITEC diploma, an ITEC diploma is recognised in 35 countries around the world. To further my skills in the bridal, occasional and festival looks I also trained with Sharleen Collins Academy where I received my second diploma in makeup artistry.
I absolutely loved training with both these academy’s you can learn a lot in a class room full of talented professionals, but my passion lies within the bridal/occasional world. I love working with my clients making them feel at ease, stress free and we have a little bit of fun to while I create the looks they desire for their special day/occasion.
My work was also featured in product, editorial and TV. I was the makeup artist for the launch of a new maternity brand in Ireland ‘The Pod Collection’. I worked on both their product and editorial campaigns, which lead to my makeup looks being featured in many media outlets such as, The Irish Times, Irish Mirror, Irish Daily Star, VIP Magazine, Evoke.ie, HerFamily.ie. I loved being apart of both these campaigns it was such amazing experience, a great new brand and such lovely woman to work for and I really enjoyed being on set for both shoots.
I also worked with the FAI women’s football team for the announcement on TV3 (Virgin Media) of their new sponsorship with Aviva Ireland. Four members of the squad were chosen to talk about the new sponsorship, one being the captain of the team. This was also an amazing experience as one of the makeup artist being behind the scenes.
What I love about being a makeup artist is that I get to travel around our amazing little country, I get to meet so many new people. I really do love being apart of that special occasion, making my clients feel at ease, stress free so sit back and enjoy your appointment 😊.
